ЭКОЛОГИЧЕСКИЕ КАТАСТРОФЫ И УПАДОК ТУРИЗМА: УРОКИ ДЛЯ ЛАТИНСКОЙ АМЕРИКИ

Аннотация

Латинская Америка остается одним из главных центров природного туризма, принося странам региона многомиллиардные доходы. Однако участившиеся экологические бедствия – ​лесные пожары в Амазонии, разливы нефти у побережья Бразилии, пластиковое загрязнение пляжей и нарастающий водный кризис – ​подрывают привлекательность курортов и эко-троп. В статье проанализированы основные виды экологических катастроф, их прямое и косвенное влияние на разные сегменты туризма (пляжный, экологический, горнолыжный, городской). Особое внимание уделено конкретным примерам последних лет: пожары 2019–2020 гг. в бассейне Амазонки, нефтяная катастрофа 2019 г. в Бразилии, деградация коралловых рифов Карибского бассейна. Показано, что ухудшение состояния природных ресурсов ведет к закрытию пляжей, отказу туристов от поездок, потере рабочих мест в туриндустрии и росту социальной напряженности. На основе анализа сформулированы меры адаптации: развитие устойчивого туризма, экологическая сертификация отелей, внедрение технологий повторного использования воды, международное сотрудничество в рамках Парижского соглашения. Материал может быть полезен специалистам в области туризма, регионального развития и охраны окружающей среды.
